Laura Morris, C.M.H.C.
Welcome! I have been practicing as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor for over 16 years and I am passionate about helping women thrive.
More than half of people will struggle with a mental health issue at some point in their lifetime. It’s common to grapple with depression, anxiety, self doubt, trauma, and grief. My role is to walk empathically by your side through it, offering evidence-based tools and perspectives to lead you to acceptance and healing. My therapeutic strengths of non-judgment, compassionate listening, and insight can help you get from surviving to thriving. It’s all about you when you’re here.
My areas of specialization include counseling women and adolescent girls. The main theoretical frameworks from which I draw are cognitive-behavioral therapy, existential theory, and specific skills-building approaches. I also believe in the mind-body connection and understand how nutrition, sleep, movement, and somatic approaches are foundational for mental health.
